High Blood Potency Feeding and Blood Bonds

Vampires over a certain blood potency can only feed on other vampires. In the canonical rules feeding by high blood potency vampires is exempt from forming blood bonds.

The house rule is that such feeding does not exempt the potent vampire from forming a bond to its prey. The result is that Elder vampires must be very careful where they get their blood if they wish to avoid forming a bond with their victims.

Rituals, rites and disciplines that require consuming the blood of another vampire still do not form bonds (as stipulated in cannon) as the blood is denatured by the process.
